let's say we bring in Juju and trade BA for a one

Juju sucks. I would sign a crippled Michael Thomas over him. If the Pats who have the worse WR room in the league are releasing you, That's not a good sign.

I never thought we'd get the offer we couldn't refuse to deal Aiyuk but what's disconcerting is that we have too many on this forum, which happens to be the best Niner board in existence, that fell for the okey doke

We have too many informed fans here with links to all the local insiders. We have AB who is a capologist. We have lawyers and finance guys here. I mean we have the works plus we keep receipts. We know this FO track record and how we handled Jimmy G and held him hostage

All this and we still had guys we had to talk off a ledge who could've sworn the 49ers were gonna deal BA for a bag of chips. They swore we lost leverage somehow all due to believing sensationalized reports

It just goes to show the power and sway of media. Even Vegas stupidly had odds of BA playing elsewhere.

It never made sense to me that we would get hosed and someone else benefited when we had both leverage and we drafted insulation

Crazy

He's broken. Has a knee that is jello. Someone will give him a look but he's done.

Now I need all the tweets from Steelers fans, who were unhinging their jaws last week, saying Aiyuk ain't that good. Please it's important to me
The Steelers GM is like "But we are willing to give you guys James Daniels and Dan Moore JR"

A smart mans post
Just want this drama over, preferably with BA re-signing. Absent that we better get a good return if they can't agree on an extension.
Where's the Rickey guy that's never wrong?

This was always the outcome

It was never likely to end any other way. As I have been saying Aiyuk had zero leverage in this situation. The niners gave him the opportunity to test his own worth, and he got served up a slice of humble pie. Now the niners throw him a little extra to salve his bruised ego, and everyone is friends again.

not so fast, maybe back to the doghouse for a week
we had all these posts for nothing
Would have loved to be a fly on the wall and hear some of these "open and candid thoughts"
